INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS EDUCATE BRENT CROSS SHOPPERS

Parents shopping at Brent Cross on Saturday 28 February will have an opportunity to find out more about independent schools in the region. Prospectuses from 30 schools across London and the South East will on display outside W H Smith in the West Mall between 9am and &pm, courtesy of the ISCis (Independent Schools Council information service).
Heads, Senior Staff and experienced ISCis consultants will also be on hand to chat informally with families. For those unfamiliar with the independent sector, this will provide the perfect opportunity to discover the wide range of options available and have any questions answered.

All visitors to the stand will be given a free handbook listing over 560 independent schools from across the region, together with information on what to think about when choosing a school. Parents concerned about the financial costs involved can seek advice from Standard Life.

Early education should be fun and Brent Cross Shopping Centre has two well-known stores to cater for the very young - Early Learning Centre and Fun Learning - whilst W H Smith provides a wide range of study material for school and college students, such as GCSE, AS Level and A Level revision books. Open seven days a week and easy to reach by bus and tube, Brent Cross is convenient for students to visit outside school or college hours.

For more information visit the Brent Cross website, www.brentcross.co.uk What's On section, or call Lynn Blackburn or Claire Fryer on 01628 526208.
