At Brent Cross we are working with Hammerson to reduce our environmental impact.
In 2016 we saved 6.7% on our energy consumption, which is equivalent to making over 7,960,000 cups of tea.
In 2016 we recycled 78% of our waste. The rest was used for energy generation – we send nothing to landfill
Our key projects in 2017 include:
Working proactively with retailers to achieve a recycling target of 83%
- Upgrading the lighting in our multi-storey car park and management offices from fluorescent to LED
- Engaging with partners such as the local authority to deliver events that support young people and over 55s achieve skills and employment
